星条旗

This is the American flag, and its nickname is Star Spangled Banner.

 Yes, it was painted on the tree trunk.  I live not too far from this popular spot. 

This new painting was completed  just a couple days before Independence Day, July 4th, 2024.

One star represents one state of the United States, and each star spangles along with other stars (states).

The tree painter creates new work each time we have a holiday, such as Halloween or Christmas.

Recently, I noticed a change on the trunk.  The painter added their email address.
